H2R Corp provided general geotechnical field services for a soil plug being constructed by Malcolm Drilling, supporting mix designs, performed drilling services and wireline coring of the low strength material, rebar inspections, soil mix wet grab sampling, laboratory testing, and other geotechnical analysis in support of the excavation.
H2R Corp, at the time known as Gannett Fleming, provided general geotechnical field services for a soil plug being constructed by Hayward Baker and HJ Foundation, performed drilling services and wireline coring of the low strength soil plug materials, and supported efforts for laboratory testing. In addition, geophysical methods were employed to locate unknown foundations from previous structures.

This included the support of mix designs, drilling services and wireline coring of the low strength material, rebar inspections, soil mix wet grab sampling, laboratory testing, and other geotechnical analysis in support of the excavation including slope stability and settlement analyses, as well as slope inclinometer measurements.
Specialty drilling services and laboratory test program was essential for the work with Geo-Solutions to ensure the jet grout columns were meeting project specifications. Oversight of the installation of jet grouting columns was also performed. Jet grouting, a ground improvement technique, enables the center's B-2 Test Stand to meet loading demands from the mass of steel framework, piping, as well as from rocket propulsion. The entire tarmac on the south side of the rocket test stand is being replaced.
